The South Carolina Gamecocks came into Orlando as the 12th ranked team in the country, but they have 30 minutes to make up a 10-0 deficit against UCF. To make matters worse, they'll have to mount that comeback without starting quarterback Connor Shaw, who left the game in the first quarter with a shoulder injury.
South Carolina on halftime upset alert vs. UCF
The Gamecocks are down 10-0 at halftime in Orlando. Can they turn it around or will the Knights claim the biggest scalp in program history?

The Knights elected to take the opening kickoff, and they made a statement five minutes later by cashing in for a 7-0 lead on a Storm Johnson touchdown run. Blake Bortles has looked great throwing the ball, and is 15-20 for 136 yards and an interception.
The Gamecocks, meanwhile, have looked out of sorts all afternoon. They were moving the ball before Shaw got hurt, but have been a mess with Dylan Thompson at the helm. Shaw is still the team's leading rusher with 30 yards, and they only have 45 rushing yards as a team in the first half. South Carolina had a chance to get on the scoreboard right before halftime, but a silly personal foul penalty moved them outside of field goal range in the waning seconds. Needless to say, some adjustments are in order.
