A lot of heated stuff goes down on the sidelines at football games. Players and coaches can get pretty worked up, and that often will result in some jawing and shoving between teammates. It’s kind of jarring to watch, but it’s not a big deal.
South Carolina, big fans of sideline shoving
Football is an emotional game.
The South Carolina Gamecocks seem like they get pretty into it, if their sideline interactions are any indication. Some coaches had to be separated a couple weeks ago during the Georgia game, and this week against UCF, quarterback Dylan Thompson did this to a teammate right after the Gamecocks took a 14-10 lead:

To be honest, it seems more like Thompson was telling him “YEAH I TOLD YOU WE WERE GONNA SCORE” rather than getting in his face about a screw up, but maybe he should not almost knock him over while doing so. Careful, Dylan, we’re all on the same team here!
On the other hand, maybe he was just following his coaches’ example. Look at this intensity!
