Georgia running back Todd Gurley suffered an apparent leg injury in the second quarter of the Bulldogs’ game against LSU. Gurley was tackled from behind near the sideline, and got his legs tangled with those of LSU safety Craig Loston. Gurley’s right leg planted in the turf, and his left leg -- with the weight of the defender behind it -- whipped into his calf and ankle.
No word yet from Georgia on the nature or extent of the injury, but Gurley was immediately replaced by sophomore Keith Marshall.
