The range of opinions regarding Jameis Winston extends infinitely, it seems, but when Auburn's Bo Jackson speaks, we listen. Appearing on the Jim Rome Show this week, Jackson said Winston, "needs to make some changes in his life, because it's affecting him now and it's definitely going to affect him down the road."
Bo Jackson on Jameis Winston: ‘I really don’t know who is giving this young man guidance’
The Auburn legend has some pointed remarks for his fellow Heisman winner.

Full audio of Jackson's interview is available on Rome's website (h/t AL.com).
Both Jackson and Winston are Birmingham-area natives and Heisman winners, and Jackson says he’s reached out to Winston before. This week, the Florida State quarterback has come under fire after it was revealed FSU is investigating whether Winston accepted money for signing autographs.
“I really don’t know who is giving this young man guidance,” Jackson said. “I have attempted, I have communicated with him and I just talked to him like I was his dad. If I told you what I told him, it’ll probably singe the hairs in your ears.”
Previously, Winston faced a sexual-assault allegation for which he was never charged, was caught shoplifting crab legs in Tallahassee, and was suspended for one game after yelling an obscene phrase in an FSU dining hall.
“I’m the type of person, I will go out of my way to help anybody,” Jackson added. “Normally, I don’t like giving people advice if I haven’t been down that road myself. But if I give you advice on something that I know more about than you by just falling out of bed in the morning, if you can’t take that advice and learn from it, then I’ve got nothing else to do with the situation. You’re on your own.”
