Things have started going backwards for the Arkansas Razorbacks against the Georgia Bulldogs, and it got even worse when Razorbacks linebacker Braylon Mitchell was ejected for targeting for a hit on Georgia quarterback Hutson Mason.
Arkansas LB Braylon Mitchell ejected for targeting
There’s not much doubt about this one.
Mason was rolling out deep in Arkansas territory, and Mitchell came up from coverage when the play looked like it was going to be a run. Mason proceeded to throw the ball, but Mitchell followed through with the hit, leading with the crown of his helmet straight at Mason’s head. His ejection was confirmed after review, and it looks pretty warranted.

Georgia went on to score one play later, extending their lead to 24-6 midway through the second quarter. Needless to say, things aren’t looking great for Arkansas.
