West Virginia recovers non-onside kick due to TCU mess-up
We’re guessing this kick was intended for the upbacks to prevent a long return, but they weren’t paying attention. It would’ve been fine if the ball kept with its momentum and bounced in the direction of the deep guy, but instead it bounced back towards the WVU players.
West Virginia got a field goal out of this, and now they’re up 13-0 on the No. 7 Horned Frogs. This actually isn’t the first unintentional onside kick in the Big 12 this year.
