- Arkansas took a 10-0 lead early in the second quarter on a 36-yard pass from Brandon Allen to Demetrius Wilson. It was Wilson's longest reception of the year by 10 yards.
- With 6 minutes left in the first half, Texas quarterback Tyrone Swoopes had completed two passes for a total loss of one yard.
- When they try to run, the Longhorns do this:
