College football schedule: TV/streaming for 3 huge New Year’s Eve bowls

The major bowl games kick off with three top-20 matchups. Full viewing schedule below.

The big games are here. New Year’s Eve has arrived, and with it come some of the most highly-anticipated matchups of bowl season. Three top-20 teams square off Wednesday, with each game being broadcast on ESPN and streamed on WatchESPN.

Things kick off at 12:30 p.m. ET with the return of the Peach Bowl, as two teams who barely missed the playoff field will face off in Atlanta. Top-10 programs Ole Miss and TCU will clash in a game that will see two of the nation’s top defenses pitted against each other. The Rebels likely have the edge defensively, but the Horned Frogs have one of the best playmakers in the nation at quarterback in Trevone Boykin.

Later at 4 p.m. ET, Boise State returns to the Fiesta Bowl to take on Arizona. The Broncos won both of their previous appearances in the game, beating Oklahoma in 2007 and TCU in 2010. The Wildcats haven’t played in the Fiesta Bowl since 1994, when they beat Miami. Despite their relative proximity, these two programs have never before played each other.

Georgia Tech and Mississippi State finish things off with at 8 p.m. ET in the Orange Bowl. The Yellow Jackets have won all four games in the series between the two schools, last sweeping a home-and-home in 2008 and 2009 (Dan Mullen’s first year).
