It’ll be a red-out in Oxford on Saturday, when the No. 10 Ole Miss Rebels host the Memphis Tigers.
How to watch Ole Miss vs. Memphis: Game guide, TV/streaming, odds
Can the Rebels continue their winning streak against the Tigers?
Ole Miss opened the season with an impressive 35-13 win over Boise State, running away from the Broncos with a 28-point fourth quarter. The Rebels opened SEC play on an even stronger note, blowing out Vanderbilt on the road 41-3. In Week 3 against an experienced Louisiana-Lafayette squad, the Rebels struck again, winning 56-15. This is the last unranked team for Ole Miss before a tough slate: after the Tigers, the Rebels play No. 3 Alabama, No. 6 Texas A&M, Tennessee, No. 17 LSU and No. 5 Auburn in a row.
Memphis has also had a strong start to the season, with a close loss to UCLA the only blemish on its record. The Tigers opened the year with a 63-0 victory over Austin Peay, following that up with the 42-35 road loss to the No. 11 Bruins. Last week, they beat down Middle Tennessee State 36-17. The Tigers have looked solidly in the top half of the AAC so far this season, and they have one last chance at a marquee victory (and some think it could happen) before conference play begins.

The numbers
Rankings and records: Ole Miss is No. 10 in the AP Poll and No. 11 in the Coaches Poll. The Rebels are 3-0 this season, while the Tigers are 2-1. Ole Miss holds the 47-2-10 lead in the all-time series, and has won the last five matchups between the two schools.
Vegas: Ole Miss is a 21-point favorite. The over/under is 59 points.
Weather forecast: 74 degrees and cloudy.
Two things at stake
The Rebels cannot afford to lose this game if they want to stay in the playoff picture.
Breaking Ole Miss’ five-game winning streak in this matchup would be a big boost to Justin Fuente and Memphis, who already nearly knocked off a top-15 opponent this season.
One big matchup
Laquon Treadwell vs. Memphis secondary. Cody Core (12 receptions, 236 yards, four touchdowns) and Vince Sanders (15 receptions, 225 yards, two touchdowns) may be Ole Miss’ receiving leaders so far this season, but there are few wideouts who provide as tough of a matchup as Treadwell, at 6’2 and 229 pounds.
The Tigers start four upperclassmen in the secondary, including three seniors. Cornerback Bobby McCain (5’11, 195) will likely match up with Treadwell, but 6’2 safety Fritz Etienne should be able to provide help over the top for the Tigers. McCain is a big-time playmaker -- so far this season, he has a fumble returned for a touchdown, an interception, four tackles and a pass broken up.
