Rose Parade 2015 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online

It might be a cold one, so here’s how you can stay inside by the fire and watch on your television or other viewing device.

The 126th annual Tournament of Roses Parade will make its traditional 5½-mile trek down Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena, Calif. on the morning of Thursday, Jan. 1. The collection extravagant floats, talented marching bands and impressive equestrian units historically serves as the top pregame event for the legendary Rose Bowl Game, which features the Florida State Seminoles and Oregon Ducks this year.

In case you won’t be making the trip to California and/or don’t want to brave the elements, here’s how you can watch the festivities.

Start time: 11 a.m. ET

TV: ABC, NBC, The Hallmark Channel, HGTV and Univision, plus several International outlets (click here for full list)

Streaming: Watch ABC

The sunshine and warmth that usually accompany the event might not show up this time around. This version of the parade could be one of the coldest ever, according to the Los Angeles Times. Still, more than a half-million people will likely attend the event; at least 700,000 spectators witnessed the parade four out of the last five years.

The theme for the 2015 Rose Parade is “Inspiring Stories,” and the parade will be highlighted by 39 floats traversing the streets of Pasadena. Former Olympic medalist, USC track and field star and World War II veteran Louis Zamperini was scheduled to be the Grand Marshal of the 2015 Rose Parade, but after his death on July 2 at age 97, he will now be represented on Thursday by his family in the parade.
