Michigan State’s 296-pound center took a handoff and stiffarmed a defender like that’s his job

This would even be impressive if he were a running back.

We might have a Piesman Trophy frontrunner after this touchdown run from 296-pound Michigan State center Jack Allen. The All-American was given his senior moment on senior day and he didn’t disappoint.

The touchdown is the third most impressive thing on this play. Allen runs the ball well for a running back. He reads the defense, finds the right hole, throws a stiffarm and then scores. Besides being 296 pounds, Allen doesn’t look out of place at all. Allen is used to this. He scored a touchdown in MSU’s spring game.

The score puts Michigan State up 55-16 on Penn State.
