The 19th-ranked Florida Gators have had a lot to celebrate this season, with a 10-3 record and an SEC East title in head coach Jim McElwain's first season in Gainesville. And while they came up short in the SEC Championship Game against Alabama, the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl, just down the road in Orlando, seems like a pretty nice consolation, right?
Citrus Bowl 2016 picks and predictions: Michigan the overwhelming choice vs. Florida
The Gators travel down the road for their bowl game, but they face long odds against the visiting Wolverines.
Likewise, Michigan appears well ahead of schedule themselves in year one of the Jim Harbaugh Era -- y'all remember him, right? The Wolverines spent time in the top 10 this season, and had an outside chance at the Big 10 East title in the season's final weeks.
Michigan comes into this game a 4-point favorite, with a 64-percent win probability according to S&P+. The Wolverines have one of the nation's best defenses, led by sophomore phenom defensive back Jabrill Peppers and a senior-laden front seven with linebacker Joe Bolden and defensive end Chris Wormley.
Still, while the Michigan offense has been efficient at times, quarterback Jake Rudock has been a little turnover-prone at times, and that's less than ideal against a Florida defense that was in the top 10 in pass defense S&P+, success rate and adjusted sack rate.
Well, according to our analysts, ESPN and the OddShark Computer, the Gators don't stand much of a chance in the game, up against the 14th-ranked Michigan Wolverines.

Pete Volk explained his Michigan pick.
I picked Michigan because I think while both teams have strong defenses, the Wolverines have the advantage on the offensive side of the ball. This is especially true at quarterback, and I suspect turnovers will play in a big factor in this game no matter what.
