Alabama over Oklahoma is the most likely Playoff result, per the odds

The Crimson Tide and Sooners are big favorites to get to the title game.

If Vegas is correct, Alabama will win the College Football Playoff over Oklahoma. Bovada lists that as the most likely scenario, at 13/5 odds, with the reverse result of the same matchup as the second-most likely, at 7/2 odds.

Scenario Odds
Alabama beats Oklahoma 13/5
Oklahoma beats Alabama 7/2
Alabama beats Clemson 4/1
Oklahoma beats Michigan State 7/1
Clemson beats Alabama 15/2
Clemson beats Michigan State 10/1
Michigan State beats Oklahoma 10/1
Michigan State beats Clemson 12/1

Those odds make sense, given that Alabama is a 10-point favorite in the Cotton Bowl against Michigan State and Oklahoma is a 4-point favorite over Clemson in the Orange Bowl, according to OddsShark.

The advanced stats would agree with those odds, as the S&P+ ratings give Alabama a 42 percent chance to win it all. Four of our 10 SB Nation analysts also chose the Tide to win the national championship, while two each picked Oklahoma, Michigan State and Clemson.
