Adidas announced Louisville’s new “UNCAGED” football uniforms Thursday in a press release, to be worn first in the season opener against Auburn September 5.
Louisville’s new Adidas uniforms feature BIG MEAN HELMET BIRD
The Cardinals will wear the uniforms in their season opener against Auburn.
The apparel company announced the new digs in customary fashion: in front of what looks like a ‘90s skate park on an acid trip.
The uniforms are designed to look like an actual cardinal, with a “photo real, high-def” bird featured on both the helmet and shoes.
Look, feathers!
Seriously, it’s a really big bird.
