All 6-4, 295 pounds of Forrest Lamp (yes, that’s his name) added some real fun to the Boca Raton Bowl proceedings when he scored this TD late in the first quarter.
Western Kentucky offensive lineman turns into a WR and scores a TD on a trick play
It was a big score.
Look at the deftness there to transition from blocker to finely tuned wider receiver. Lamp clearly has the full toolset of the consummate athlete.
Does it look familiar? Well it’s the same play Pitt lineman, and Piesman Trophy award winner Brian O’Neill staked his claim on earlier this season.
Lamp, is in his own right both a character and a good player. He showed up to a press conference earlier this season wearing this sweet Punisher tank.
But on the field, he’s one of the best left tackles in this year’s NFL draft class. After this play, he should be taken No. 1 overall.
