Florida State beat Michigan 33-32 in the most dramatic of fashions in the Orange Bowl.
Florida State beats Michigan in Orange Bowl with bonkers final 2 minutes
What a game.

The Noles scored a seemingly improbable touchdown with less than 40 seconds left to take a 33-30 lead.
Michigan blocked the extra point that would’ve made it a four-point game, and returned it to make the score 33-32.
The Wolverines had a chance to score a touchdown, but Florida State’s defense put things away with an interception.
Prior to Florida State’s last touchdown, Michigan scored with less than two minutes left. The Wolverines were able to make the two-point conversion to take a 30-27 lead.
Prior to the Michigan score, Florida State had led the entire night, and the Noles went into the locker room with a 20-6 advantage at halftime.
The Wolverines’ top-5 defense apparently needed a lot more Jabrill Peppers, who did not play due to injury.
Florida State running back Dalvin Cook scored the Noles’ first touchdown of the night, and the FSU offense went on to add 13 more points in the first half. One of those scores came on a beautiful 92-yard touchdown from quarterback Deondre Francois, which marked the longest passing touchdown in Orange Bowl history.
Cook, who will likely make a decision in the coming days regarding his NFL draft status, had a stellar night with 145 yards and a touchdown against a very talented Michigan defense.
For Florida State, the season is definitely a successful one, despite not winning the ACC Atlantic and losing to Louisville, North Carolina, and Clemson. But make no mistake: A nine-win regular season along with a big victory over Florida to cap things off made the Noles worthy of an Orange Bowl bid. And the way they were able to pull off the victory is a definite high note for Florida State.
Michigan’s season ended on a couple of low notes, losing in double-overtime to Ohio State to blow a shot at both a Big Ten title and a Playoff bid. The Orange Bowl loss doesn’t help.
