Dalvin Cook turned a 3rd-and-22 into a 71-yard gain at the Orange Bowl

He’s just so good.

Yep, this is when having a guy like Dalvin Cook on your team benefits you most. Michigan had pulled within five points against Florida State in the Orange Bowl, and the Wolverine defense had forced FSU into a third-and-22. But then, Cook happened. The junior exploded for a 71-yard run that left everyone in the dust.

The run was downed at the Michigan 16 yard line, and the Noles were able to score a touchdown to take a 27-15 lead. Cook also scored the Noles’ first touchdown in the first half.

In a game that could be his last with a strong possibility that he’ll declare for the NFL Draft, this play isn’t a bad way for Cook to cement his legacy.
