Here is Nick Saban’s face while sitting through a painter’s awards show performance

Mood: not amused.

At Thursday’s College Football Awards in Atlanta, the show had a break in the action for some sort of interpretive-seeming musical performance, in which the artist painted a picture of famed head coach Steve Spurrier. It was a bit strange.

Alabama coach Nick Saban was in attendance, both to accompany a couple of Alabama award winners and to do some media appearances. He was not, apparently, all that captivated by the performance that was going on.

I knew where this was heading. You knew where this was heading. Twitter, most certainly, knew where this was heading. We have a meme.

And, of course, the meme of the meme:

Glad to see the coach is having a good time. As for Spurrier, he liked the painting but had one gripe. Many subjects of paintings have had more than one, so that’s OK.

College football is a pretty weird sport.
