The best sights and sounds from USC’s celebration after winning the 2017 Rose Bowl

USC beat Penn State, 52-49, in the Rose Bowl, the game itself turning out to be one of the most thrilling finishes we’ve seen all season. USC’s Leon McQuay picked off a long pass from Penn State quarterback Trace McSorley, and was able to return it to the PSU 33 with less than 30 seconds left.

USC then lined up for a miraculous game-winning 46-yard field goal. Placekicker Matt Boermeester nailed it, sealing the unbelievable Trojan victory. Here’s what that looked like from the field:
