Oh yes, this is Peak Florida, folks. In the first half of a deadlocked 3-3 game between the Florida Gators and Texas A&M Aggies, Gators quarterback Feleipe Franks’ pass was tipped when he threw it, which resulted in the ball landing in the Florida’s center’s hands. T.J. McCoy, beautifully, then started to run with it just like the thing was designed!
Florida’s center made a catch and is now one of the Gators’ most explosive offensive players
This was beautiful, folks.

There’s so much I love about this play, especially:
- This being the epitome of Florida’s offense basically since Tim Tebow left.
- MCCOY STIFF-ARMED THE AGGIES DEFENDER WHO BROUGHT HIM DOWN!
- Oh, and McCoy has the same number of receptions on the season than actual Florida receiver Dre Massey. No, really!
My god, this statistic is a thing of beauty and as I mentioned before, the whole thing really just sums up Florida in a nice little nutshell.
On Florida’s next drive, the Gators were luckily able to find the end zone first against the Aggies defense, giving them a 10-3 lead before halftime. I salute you, McCoy, for this brilliant play. Go Gata.
