Hi, would you like to watch a defensive lineman snag a pick and stampede 96 yards for a touchdown?

He even matched his jersey number.

Get a good look at Saint Francis defensive lineman Louie Gartner getting a paw on the ball against the Robert Morris Colonials, then powering 96 yards into the end zone.

How’d he even wind up with that ball? The camera operator has no idea, but evidently, the 5’10, 265-pounder really did either stab the ball right outta the sky or tip it to himself.

He even matched his jersey number with that yardage.

As a Piesman Trophy voter, I’d just like to say this is the first play of 2017 I’d consider worthy of being a Piesman finalist. We’ll see if this one holds up through the end of the season.
