San Diego State running back Rashaad Penny is great. Because he plays for a mid-major on the West Coast, not enough people get to see him play. But he was over 1,000 yards with 10 touchdowns through his first eight games on a really good team.
San Diego State’s Rashaad Penny literally dragged a Hawaii defender along the turf
Hawaii’s guy didn’t even buy a ticket for this ride.

I hope this is the highlight that takes Penny national:
That’s a deeply literal dragging of a defender. The man taking this free ride down the field is Hawaii linebacker Jahlani Tavai, who should’ve had to pay Penny for a) transportation down the field, and b) the terrific workout he gave his left arm.
For Penny, this appears to be some light resistance work, like someone would do with bands at the gym. He’s just towing the guy around the field like a broken-down car.
Penny is the latest very fun SDSU running back. His predecessor is Donnel Pumphrey, whom the NCAA recognizes as the all-time leading rusher in FBS.
