Nick Saban believes the massive expectations facing Alabama are like “rat poison” to his players, he said after a businesslike but not destructive win at Texas A&M on Saturday. Saban’s view is that Alabama players are so hyped up by media members telling them how good they are that when they only win a road game by eight points against a talented team like A&M, they feel down about it, or something like that.
FAU has expectations, so Lane Kiffin pokes fun at Nick Saban’s RAT POISON quote
Also, Kiffin’s hashtag game is vibrant.

Enter Lane Kiffin, the former Alabama offensive coordinator and current FAU head coach whose new team faces some truly massive expectations:
#top10rushingoffensesinthecountry is a whale of a hashtag. I’m not sure what Kiffin’s getting at, because FAU’s No. 15 nationally in both yards per carry (5.7) and rushing yards per game (259). None of that’s top-10 stuff, but it’s close enough.
The Owls are 3-3 this year but 2-0 in league play. The C-USA East is pretty wide open, with two-time defending champion WKU not looking like a dominant force this year. I hope Kiffin’s players can keep an even keel in light of all the hype facing them.
