Pitt player flexes on Miami with fan-made Panthers turnover chain after upsetting the Canes

The Panthers won on the field, then Avonte Maddox rubbed it in off of it.

Oh, you thought Pitt was gonna beat Miami and then the Panthers weren’t gonna weaponize the Canes’ epic sideline prop for the joke? You thought wrong.

Here’s DB Avonte Maddox absolutely flexing on the Canes with a fan-made version of the chain, from former Pitt player James Conner’s Instagram.

Miami’s turnover chain, bestowed upon a player who gets a takeaway, has been all the rage this season.

So it stands to reason that the opposition is going to focus on it. Two weeks ago, Notre Dame defensive coordinator Mike Elko talked spicy about the chain.

“You go out tonight you show the world with this fuckin’ group is all about, you hear me? They can have the chain, we’re gettin’ the fucking rings.”

But the Irish weren’t able to deliver on the tough talk and lost. Pitt won when it counted, and the Panthers are no strangers to huge upsets over No. 2 teams.

We had our own version of the chain as well, but Maddox’s is definitely a lot better.
