It seems that the NFL’s befuddlement about whether a catch is indeed a catch or not has infected college football.
Oklahoma State had a scoop and score overturned when a catch was ruled incomplete after review
Big 12 refs are having themselves an interesting afternoon.

The important thing to note here is that the call on the field was that it was catch followed by a fumble, scoop and score. Of course, the refs needed conclusive video evidence to turn over this call, and in a pretty titanic point in the game, they overturned the call. I’ll let you be the judge, but the play was certainly a close one. There is also this point:
That’s the difference between 10-0 and 3-0 in the biggest Big 12 game of the season. The Sooners would end up punting to the Pokes and Oklahoma State was unable to do anything with the ball. They punted back to OU, which would score to take a 7-3 lead.
Baker Mayfield already threw a pick that set up the Pokes pretty deep in enemy territory and more points on the board by the Cowboys would have made the home crowd beside itself and given OSU a leg up in a game that’s pretty certain to become a shootout.
