Les Miles had extremely Les Miles live tweets of Mayweather-McGregor

The beloved coach returned to Twitter to say a bunch of excited stuff about the fight.

Here’s former LSU head football coach Les Miles, just getting warmed up for a night of heartfelt tweeting:

“The want to win” is a turn of phrase Miles has trotted out many times over the years, at least as far back as 2008.

This was Miles’ first tweet since August 9, when he announced he’ll be working as an SEC Network analyst this season and second tweet in almost a full calendar year. Getting our weird uncle back for a night of sports tweets was a pretty big deal on college football Twitter.

And off he went, spelling words only as accurately as the situation called for at the time:

Also, I hope he got his son to call him.

Miles does this out of nowhere every so often. There was that time in 2012 he showed up to document a College World Series game that didn’t involve LSU. The man loves all sports and loves showing it, and it’s yet another reason fans like having him around.
