Isaiah Wright, a former running back for East Mississippi Community College and star of the Netflix show Last Chance U, reached a deal with prosecutors in Tennessee to get a murder charge against him dropped on Wednesday, the Knoxville News Sentinel reports. Wright is now out of jail, where he’d been held since prosecutors charged him in September 2017.

Both Wright and his brother Camion Patrick had been charged in connection with a 2017 killing in Tennessee.

Wright pleaded guilty to facilitation of aggravated robbery. He received credit for time served in jail and was given a five-year supervised probation sentence, according to the paper.
A murder charge against Camion Patrick, Wright’s brother and a former Indiana running back, was dropped in November:
Patrick, 23, was one of four men facing criminal homicide charges in connection with the July 25 death of Caleb Thomas Radford of Maryville. Police said Radford had “multiple stab wounds.”
Isaiah Wright, Keshawn Lonnell Hopewell and Itiq Tivone Green are still facing criminal homicide charges and will have their cases brought before a grand jury.
Wright’s plea deal includes this provision, the News Sentinel reported:
Additionally, the plea deal requires Wright, 20, to provide truthful information about his older brother, Camion Patrick. Patrick also was charged in Radford’s killing, but a judge dismissed his case last year.
”I don’t suspect any further problems for Camion,” Patrick’s attorney, Kevin W. Shepherd, said Wednesday.

Camion D. Patrick, 22, of Knoxville, and Isaiah S. Wright, 20, of Harriman, are each charged with one count of criminal homicide in the July 25 death of 18-year-old Caleb Thomas Radford, of Maryville, the Alcoa Police Department announced Thursday.
Patrick, a student at the University of Indiana, was taken into custody by campus police Wednesday morning. He remained in custody in Bloomington, Ind., pending his extradition to Blount County.
An Indiana University spokesman confirmed Thursday morning Patrick has been suspended.
Wright was arrested Wednesday in Harriman and was expected to be transferred to the Blount County Jail.
Patrick wasn’t on Indiana’s football roster at the time.
Wright appeared regularly on seasons one and two of Last Chance U.
He was EMCC’s No. 2 running back in 2015, the year that made up the first season. He became the starter in 2016, for season two, but didn’t have a good season. Wright landed at Division II West Georgia, but by August, he had left the school.
Patrick signed with Indiana out of EMCC in 2015.
