You’d be forgiven if weren’t playing too close attention to the Nebraska vs. Bethune-Cookman game. Nebraska entered at 1-6, Bethune was a 4-4 FCS team, and this game wasn’t even supposed to happen. Nebraska added BCU to the schedule after their season opening game against Akron was canceled due to inclement weather.
Hello, here’s one of the most delightful punt celebrations ever
Hell yeah, get down my dude

Nebraska led 38-3 in the third quarter, thanks to a productive day from quarterback Adrian Martinez and a defense that had three takeaways. But that isn’t important.
What IS important is this punt by Wildcat punter Uriel Hernandez:
Okay, objectively, that’s a pretty dang good punt, pinning the Cornhuskers well inside the 10 yard line.
BUT THEN HE BUSTS OUT THE FINGER GUNS! And I think also a bow-and-arrow routine? All that while being listed at 5’4, 209.
Look, this technically isn’t the sort of play that typically gets Piesman consideration, but as a Piesman voter, I can’t guarantee I won’t try to slip this on my ballot.
Here’s hoping Hernandez drops another solid punt and blesses us all with more sweet moves. Pew pew indeed.
