Kentucky hurled head coach Mark Stoops into the ceiling in celebration

“Mo Bamba” was playing, so this really shouldn’t come as a surprise. But it’s still f***ing awesome.

Kentucky had a rough go of things in Columbia against Missouri on Saturday, but managed a 12-point fourth quarter to secure a 15-14 win at the buzzer. It resulted in arguably the celebration of the year by the Wildcats in the locker room.

First, we’ve got Mark Stoops crowd surfing while “Mo Bamba” is blasting in the locker room.

You can’t name a more I’m Pumped The Fuck Up song that’s out right now. It doesn’t exist.

And well, with that kind of a pump can come some damage, which happened when the Wildcats slammed Stoops into a ceiling tile.

Let’s take a closer look at the damage.

Aaaaand let’s take a closer look at Stoops!

I suppose that is joy!

There’s plenty of reason to celebrate if you’re Kentucky.

They should be ranked in the top 10 in the next AP poll and go into next week welcoming Georgia, fresh off a win against Florida, for control of the SEC East.

“We’re playing for the East next week,” Stoops said after the game. “It’s a really big deal for our fan base and for our team. These guys have worked hard and you have to find a way. If you’re going to be a championship team, you gotta find a way to win games like this. I’m just very proud of our team for doing it.”

We’ll see if the Wildcats are able to keep the magic going next week. And perhaps they might throw Mizzou some change for the ceiling tile. It was definitely worth it.
