Black Friday is upon us. Many people use Black Friday to make a mad dash for retailers that have put tons of things on in-store sales special for that day.
Which college football games will be the HOTTEST BLACK FRIDAY DEALS?
People will be as passionate about some of these games as they are about whatever Best Buy’s selling at 12:01 a.m. Friday.

Naturally, that’s resulted in shoppers doing things like this:
But aside from shopping, there’s a whole lotta college football games on Black Friday. So let’s classify these games by how big of door-busters they’ll be. Which ones will fly off the shelves, and which won’t get sold?
All times are p.m. Eastern.
Texas at Kansas — noon, FS1
The Longhorns are a 15-point favorite, and Kansas has a lame-duck coach, and Les Miles isn’t fully in charge just yet. Boring, right? No. Smart shoppers will never forget that legendary flash sale two years ago, when Kansas beat Texas in football.
Nebraska at Iowa — noon, FOX
I mean, sure, you can watch this extremely #B1G matchup. The Hawkeyes are currently 9.5-point favorites.
Akron at Ohio — noon, CBSSN
Eat some leftovers!
Buffalo at Bowling Green — noon, ESPNU
Eat some leftovers!
Central Michigan at Toledo — noon, WatchESPN
Eat some leftovers!
EMU at Kent State — noon, WatchESPN
Eat some leftovers!
Houston at Memphis — noon, ABC
This game’s gonna decide who represents the AAC West on Championship Saturday against UCF. The teams’ and the last two games have been decided by a combined eight points, with an average of 86 points scored! Just some good ole’ fashioned fun:
Arkansas at Missouri — 2:30, CBS
Arkansas is 2-9 heading into this matchup, and Missouri is favored by three touchdowns. Might wanna just take a nap from eating leftovers tbh.
Coastal Carolina at South Alabama — 3, ESPN+
Wake up from your nap and eat more leftovers, at this point.
East Carolina at Cincinnati — 3:30, CBSSN
It’s football! Watch it!
Oregon at Oregon State — 4, FS1
Oregon’s a 16.5-point favorite, and it will probably be a blowout, so you can safely start your Round 2 of leftovers before the primetime games get goin’.
UCF at South Florida — 4:15, ESPN
Last year, they played the best regular season game of the year. The Knights won in overtime, jumping to the AAC title game and later a national championship claim.
Fast-forward a year, and UCF’s already clinched the division, and USF’s lost four in a row to fall way out of contention. But things can always get chippy in the War on I-4, so:
Virginia at Virginia Tech — 3:30, ABC
Everyone will be in a mild, escalating state of panic the whole time, for different reasons: UVA because it’s favored despite never beating VT, and VT because it needs to win this game (and then another won) to continue a 25-year bowl streak.
Oklahoma at West Virginia — 8, ABC
ABSOLUTE AND COMPLETE CHAOS. NO ONE IS SAFE, NOT EVEN LITTLE CHILDREN!
Related:
There will be a million points. Both teams are in the Big 12 race, and Oklahoma’s still in the Playoff hunt. It won’t be the time to be cordial.
Washington at Washington State, 8:30, FOX
People are getting trampled, and most everyone in the stands is drunk off Fireball or high on weed, or both, and the one guy who’s never bought anything nice for himself before has decided he wants the most valuable thing in the store, even though there are only four copies available in the entire country:
If it feels like you might not get out alive, trust that feeling.
Enjoy the games!
