Arizona Bowl 2018: Nevada vs. Arkansas State: Where, when, and team info
The game in Tucson now has its matchup.

Who’s playing in the 2018 Arizona Bowl?
Arkansas State (8-4, 5-3 in Sun Belt)
If you’ve lost count, this makes eight bowl appearances in a row for the Red Wolves under four different coaches: Hugh Freeze, Gus Malzahn, Bryan Harsin, and Blake Anderson. Of course, Anderson’s done it five years in a row, after the three guys before him were all one-year stopovers in Jonesboro. ASU finished its regular season in the top 40 in Offensive S&P+ (52nd in overall S&P+) and got quality dual-threat play from senior QB Justice Hansen, who had more than 3,000 passing yards and a 27-to-6 TD-to-INT ratio to go with 5.1 yards per rush and six more TDs there.
Nevada (7-5, 5-3 in Mountain West)
The Wolf Pack are bowling for the first time in three years. This used to be a regular thing, as they made 10 in 11 years between 2005 and 2015. Jay Norvell’s gotten them back by playing steady offense and defense and beating the teams they should beat. Nevada only had one really notable win, a four-point triumph over San Diego State in a game advanced stats think they could’ve easily lost. The Pack have a senior QB, Ty Gangi, who can move the offense downfield with pretty good efficiency.
