Bad Boy Mowers Gasparilla Bowl 2018, USF vs. Marshall: Where, when, and team info
The game in Tampa now has its matchup.

Who’s playing in the 2018 Bad Boy Mowers Gasparilla Bowl?
USF (7-5, 3-5 in AAC)
After double-digit wins in both Willie Taggart’s last year and Charlie Strong’s first, the Bulls took an unmistakable step backward. Their offense stopped being electric when quarterback Quinton Flowers graduated, and the defense fell on hard times near the end of the regular season. A 7-0 start thus gave way to an 0-5 finish, and USF no longer looks like the near-term New Year’s bowl threat it was before the season.
Marshall (8-4, 6-2 in Conference USA)
The Thundering Herd are firmly back to being good again. They had a weird 3-9 year in 2016, and while they’ve yet to recapture their routine double-digit-win heights from the few years before that, they’ve been solid thanks to a tremendous defense. The Herd are in the top 10 in Defensive S&P+, and they have no glaring holes on that side of the ball. Malik Gant, a safety, leads the team in tackles for loss, as well picks and pass breakups.
