Camping World Bowl 2018, West Virginia vs. Syracuse: Where, when, and team info
The game in Orlando now has its matchup.

Who’s playing in the 2018 Camping World Bowl?
West Virginia (8-3, 6-3 in Big 12)
The Mountaineers were in the Playoff race, earnestly, until blowing a 10-point fourth-quarter lead to lose at Oklahoma State in Week 12. Then they lost a barnburner to Oklahoma in which “defensive stops” were, for the most part, an abstract concept. Their year could not have ended more disappointingly than it did. But they’re still tons of fun to watch, with a top-five offense and a defense bad enough to guarantee the over is always in danger. (The over is 7-4 when WVU’s on the field.) Watch this game because it’s the last time you can watch Will Grier against a college defense, and because receivers David Sills V and Gary Jennings Jr. are just as enjoyable as their QB.
Syracuse (9-3, 6-2 in ACC)
The Orange got up to No. 12 in the Playoff rankings before getting sliced by Notre Dame at Yankee Stadium in Week 12. That outcome prevented their season from being special, but it was still great by Cuse’s standards. They hadn’t won nine games since 2001 or played in a bowl since 2013, two streaks that are now kaput. QB Eric Dungey’s one of the most watchable players in the country, if you can stomach watching him subject himself to massive hits while he darts through defenses.
