Independence Bowl 2018, Duke vs. Temple: Where, when, and team info
The Shreveport game now has its matchup.

Who’s playing in the 2018 Independence Bowl?
Duke (7-5, 3-5 in ACC)
The Blue Devils were most impressive in early non-conference play, when they scored wins against eventual Big Ten West champ Northwestern and eventual Big 12 bowl team Baylor. They were bad in the league, and their badness got a hell of a punctuation mark when Wake Forest beat them by 52 in Week 13, by far the most statistically surprising result of that week and one of the most shocking of the year. QB Daniel Jones is an NFL Draft darling in some corners, if that interests you. But there is very little about Duke that’s pleasing to watch, unless Zion Williamson agrees to play tight end
Temple (8-4, 7-1 in AAC)
Geoff Collins’ Owls continued to maintain a solid level of play in his second year since taking over for Matt Rhule. The Owls have one of the country’s better defenses, something that’s consistent with Collins’ background as the coordinator of some excellent Florida Ds. The strength of Temple’s unit is it is tremendous against the pass. The Owls have a lot of ball hawks and are a nightmare to try to move the ball through the air against, making them a no-fun bowl matchup.
Where is the Independence Bowl?
