Rose Bowl 2019, Ohio State vs. Washington: Where, when, and team info
The game in Pasadena now has its matchup.

Who’s playing in the 2019 Rose Bowl?
Ohio State (12-1, 8-1 in Big Ten)
At the highest levels of the program, Ohio State’s season was a mess. On the field, it was a regular Ohio State season.
The people in charge at Ohio State created a scandal that called into serious question how Urban Meyer’s program handled allegations of domestic abuse against former assistant Zach Smith. Meyer was suspended three games, and since his return, questions have abounded over his long-term status with program.
Ohio State’s players did what Ohio State’s players usually do: they won a lot of games. The Buckeyes didn’t look like themselves for much of the season, but they routed Michigan in The Game and then handled an overmatched Northwestern in the Big Ten Championship without too much trouble. Quarterback Dwayne Haskins gave the program a downfield passing dimension it had never consistently had under Meyer.
Washington (10-3, 7-2 in Pac-12)
The Huskies had a disappointing year, in that they were a preseason top-10 team and fell out of the Playoff hunt altogether with two (and even three) relatively quick losses. As things wound up shaking out, they might have even been out after a Week 1 loss to what turned out to be an underachieving Auburn. But they beat Washington State on the road in the Apple Cup, and they won an ugly Pac-12 Championship against Utah to take the league again. The Rose Bowl will be a chance for QB Jake Browning to end an inconsistent but overall impressive career on a good note, and for UW’s great defense to show out again.
