Disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong’s interview with Oprah Winfrey aired on Thursday night, and the former Tour de France champion did admit to using performance enhancing substances while he was racing. When he was asked by Oprah whether he used performance enhancing substances, Armstrong responded:

The former Tour de France champion admitted during his interview with Oprah that he used various performance enhancing drugs during his career.
"I am sitting here today to acknowledge that and to to say I'm sorry for that."
During the interview, Armstrong admitted to using EPO, as well as blood transfusions and testosterone.
Armstrong was stripped of his seven Tour de France titles back in October of 2012, after the United States Anti-Doping Agency released a report chronicling all their evidence against Armstrong and his teammates. Armstrong was long rumored to use performance enhancers during his title run, but was never caught by testing agents.
