After a tough Stage 14 with some intense climbing, racers might have been looking forward to an easier go on Sunday at the Giro d’Italia. That’s because race officials had initially canceled a good portion of Sunday’s uphill climb due to bad weather, but they’ve since went back on that and have given the green light on much of the original course.
Giro d’Italia 2013 Stage 15: TV schedule, map, route and more
Stage 15 of the Giro d’Italia is back on, for the most part, with only the final four kilometers of the Col du Galibier cut off due to bad weather.

Originally, all of Mont Cenis was canceled, leaving an extremely short stage, but that is all back in the race now, with only the final four kilometers of the stage being canceled. Fortunately for those not looking for a tough climb, the final four kilometers was the climb up Col du Galibier, one of the tougher climbs in the Giro.
Over at Podium Cafe, they do a good job of showing what was cut out with profile maps. Below, a map of the full stage, though again, the race will have the final four kilometers cut off, which is not reflected in the map, via Cycling News:
Stage 15 will begin at 6:30 a.m. ET (12:30 p.m. local time). Television coverage in the United States will begin at 9:30 a.m. on beIN Sport, which is available on most cable and satellite providers in the US.
