Stage 3 of the 2017 Tour de France will take the peloton through a hilly 212.5-kilometer course that starts at the Belgian town of Verviers and goes to the French town of Longwy. The time trial specialists and sprinters had the advantage over the first two days of the Tour, but Monday’s stage contains plenty of short climbs that should mix things up.
Tour de France 2017 live stream: Time, TV schedule, and route for Stage 3
Things will really get interesting with Stage 3 of the 2017 Tour de France on Monday.

Five categorized climbs permeate Stage 3, including the first Category 3 ascents of this year’s Tour. Peter Sagan and Michael Matthews are among the favorites for the stage, but the yellow jersey of Geraint Thomas should be safe, for this stage at least.
The stage will begin at 6:25 a.m. ET, with live coverage provided by NBCSN in the United States. That coverage begins at 8 a.m., and the stage should wrap up around 11:30 a.m. or so.
If you want live coverage from the onset of the stage, you need to subscribe to NBC Sports Gold, which has all races live streamed and on demand, starting earlier than the television coverage. The NBCSN coverage will also be live streamed via NBC Sports online, beginning at 8 a.m.
The points and mountains jersey are on the line. There is a hairpin near the final climb that is taken fast and could result in some crashes. After a major crash in Stage 2 that took down Chris Froome and Romain Bardet, riders will no doubt be wary.
Marcel Kittel won a sprint near the end of Stage 2, beating out a group of similarly skilled riders. A cleaner race will be attempted on Monday.
