Indy 500 2015: Carb Day schedule and TV coverage
Racing and a rock show.

Carb Day, the shorthand for “Carburation Day,” is a reference to teams tuning their carburetors before the race in the past. While cars have moved beyond them, the name remains intact as a throwback to racing’s history.
The event allows racing fans to not only see practice runs and short races, but also provides an in-depth look into the world of pit crews and other behind-the-curtain facets of auto racing.
In addition to the musical performance and racing, fans can also enjoy a Troy Lee autograph session, garage tours, vintage car exhibition and other activities. The Indy 500 Carb Day festivities begin at 8 a.m. ET and continue on until the Jane’s Addiction concert concludes. The show is tentatively scheduled to finish at 6:30 p.m.
