Top 100 fantasy football standard wide receivers for Week 3

Week 3 of the fantasy football season is upon us. But before we get to the rankings, let’s take a Quick Look at the standard league top receivers. Through two games Malik Nabers, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Rome Odunze and Quentin Johnston are your Top-4 standard wide receivers with three touchdowns each. Our WR1 in PPR is Puka Nacua, who leads the league in receptions with 18, but ranks as WR5 in standard. Johnston, who has three touchdowns, but just eight receptions, ranks as WR7 in PPR. Not too far off of his standard ranking, but enough to make a difference. It remains tough to find receivers who consistently score touchdowns, who aren’t already top tier receivers, but it is worth trying to find those who are getting red zone targets.

Worthy got in some limited work in practice, but never really seemed close to playing last week. We’ll see if his chances go up this week as the Chiefs prepare to take upon the Giants.

Reed broke his collar bone and will be out a couple months. That should help boost Dontayvion Wicks, who took over a good portion of his slot snaps after his injury.

Jennings had been dealing with a shoulder injury from Week 1, but picked up an ankle injury in Week 2. He ended up playing through the injury and putting up big fantasy numbers, but we’ll see how he feels this week before inking him into your lineups against the Cardinals.

Kirk has missed the first two games due to a hamstring injury. He should be getting closer to a return, so keep an eye on his practice participation ahead of their game against the Jaguars.

Franklin saw a bump in work in Week 1 compared to his rookie season, but Week 2 he got an even bigger increase in snaps and targets. He ended up catching 8-of-9 targets for 89 yards and a touchdown, adding 11 yards on the ground. He gets a tough matchup this week, but if he’s turned a corner, I love his upside moving forward.

Johnston is still only rostered in 59% of Yahoo leagues, but has been a touchdown magnet for Justin Herbert so far this season. He has a tough matchup against the Broncos, but I’m willing to see if he can keep his streak going another game.
