The Green Bay Packers and TE Tucker Kraft have gotten off to a great start to the season. The Packers are 2-0, while Kraft has brought in 8-of-11 targets for 140 yards and two touchdowns. Unfortunately, Kraft suffered a knee injury in Thursday’s practice ahead of their matchup with the Browns in Cleveland.

Initial reports on Kraft’s injury were positive, but with the injury taking place so late in the week, he was unable to practice Friday and is listed as questionable. Hopefully we will know his status earlier than later, but right now we’re in the dark. But, there is a real chance he sits, so have another tight end ready to go.

Fantasy football analysis
If Kraft plays, he is a must start, as he’s been the Packers best receiver so far and with Jayden Reed out, he will continue to have a high floor. If he can’t go, Dontayvian Wicks should get a nice bump in work. He’s already in line for the slot receiver role with Reed out, but Kraft’s absence would help concentrate work his way even more.
Matthew Golden and Romeo Doubs should also see an uptick in targets. Kraft’s backup, Luke Musgrave, will see an uptick in work, but so will tight end John FitzPatrick, who splits time about evenly with Musgrave when backing up Kraft. Neither make for a good fantasy play until we can see one take a big step up in work.
