The winless New York Jets head to Cincinnati to take on the 3-4 Cincinnati Bengals as 6.5-point underdogs. The Bengals just got a shot in the arm with the addition of Joe Flacco at quarterback. He helped them beat the Steelers last Thursday night and looked much better than backup Jake Browning has in relief of Joe Burrow.
Mason Taylor start or sit: Week 8 fantasy football advice
We break down the fantasy football outlook of Mason Taylor ahead of Week 8

The Jets on the other hand haven’t been able to move the ball with Justin Fields at quarterback. It looks like they’d like to move on to Tyrod Taylor this week, but he isn’t 100% with a knee injury he suffered after replacing the ineffective Fields in Week 7.
Below, we’ll go over Mason Taylor’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 8.
Fantasy Football analysis: Jets, TE, Mason Taylor
The Jets top receiver, Garrett Wilson, missed last week with a hyperextended knee and could miss again this week. If he does there will be opportunity for rookie tight end Mason Taylor, who has shown some promise, but not much consistency.
For Taylor to reach his upside, I’d very much like to see Tyrod Taylor get the start, as he’s not as worried to throw the ball. If we can get that Taylor-Taylor connection going, there is plenty of room for a big game against the Bengals defense. When you look at schedule adjusted fantasy points allowed to tight ends, the Bengals are way out in front as the worst.
This matchup is too good to pass up with a tight end that should be the No. 1 target for a 6.5-point underdog. It’s no lock, but as long as Tyrod gets the nod, I’m all in.
