Mason Taylor start or sit: Week 10 fantasy football advice

We still don’t know who will be the quarterback for the 1-7 New York Jets in Week 10, but we do know they’ll face a tough Browns defense at home as 2.5-point underdogs this Sunday. Justin Fields helped them to their first win last week against the Bengals, so there is a good possibility he gets another chance this week. Unfortunately, his fear of throwing an interception has paralyzed the passing offense. Tyrod Taylor is much more willing to let the ball fly, which is needed for fantasy points.

Wide receiver Garrett Wilson looks like he’ll be back this week, while Breece Hall wasn’t traded and will continue to lead the backfield. Those are two strong offensive playmakers and even in a poor offensive environment, they remain starts in most fantasy formats. After those two the Jets aren’t producing much fantasy goodness, but, rookie tight end Mason Taylor has at least flashed some fantasy value at times.

Below, we’ll go over Mason Taylor’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 10.

Taylor now has Top 12 PPR finishes in three of his last five games. They have come against some of the worst defenses in the league — Cowboys, Dolphins, and Bengals. The Browns are a good defense, but they have allowed five touchdown receptions to tight ends so far this season. And Taylor will likely need a touchdown to be worth starting this week, as the Browns don’t give up many receptions to the position.

At this point, it;s pretty safe to start Taylor in 2TE leagues, but his offense is always on the verge of getting stuck in the mud for the entire game.
