The 3-7 Miami Dolphins showed some life last week against the AFC East leading Buffalo Bills. They won going away and continue to give some hope they aren’t completely lost. But, they also aren’t great by any means and their quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa, is a big reason for that.
Tua Tagovailoa start or sit: Week 11 fantasy football advice
We break down the fantasy football outlook of Tua Tagovailoa ahead of Week 11

Below, we’ll go over Tua Tagovailoa’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 11.
Fantasy Football analysis: Dolphins, QB, Tua Tagovailoa
This week the Dolphins get a good matchup against a bad Commanders defense. In five games this season they’ve allowed three or more touchdown passes. And in their last two games they’ve been at their worst, giving up 650 yards passing and seven touchdown passes to Sam Darnold and Jared Goff. The question is, can Tagovailoa put up similar numbers this week?
So far, Tagovailoa has 17 touchdown passes, which has him seventh overall and tied with some pretty strong quarterbacks. But, he also leads the league with 13 interceptions. If you could magically take those interceptions away, he’d be sitting around QB13 in fantasy instead of QB18. He’s also 17th in passing yards and does nothing as a runner. He’s had two games where he’s gone over two touchdown passes and those are his two Top 12 fantasy games on the year.
Could he have another 3 or 4 touchdown day this week against a bad Commanders defense? Yes, with De’Von Achane and Jaylen Waddle, there is room for good fantasy numbers. But, he’s not doing enough to elevate his fantasy numbers outside of getting his two best players the ball. He’s a Top 20 play most weeks, but counting on him to get over the hump in fantasy is tough.
