Fantasy Football analysis: Panthers, RB, Chuba Hubbard
Hubbard started as the lead back this season in Carolina, but Dowdle took over by sheer force, as he played too well to not get the nod. Now Hubbard, who is still a good back, has taken a back seat to Dowdle. Last week he did see his snap percentage at its highest since Week 8 and he caught four passes, his most since Week 2. In a game that the Panthers should trail, Hubbard could PPR scam his way into some fantasy points. But Dowdle is also seeing plenty of work as a receiver.
In the end, it’s too risky to start Hubbard this week, even in PPR. Maybe he continues to see an uptick in snap percentage, but it’s a guessing game at this point.
