The 3-9 New York Jets host the 5-7 Miami Dolphins as 3-point home underdogs this Sunday. The Jets have no hope for the playoffs, so they’re going all in on some young receivers to see where they stand. John Metchie and Adonai Mitchell have both seen big workloads since being added to the team a few weeks ago.
Adonai Mitchell start or sit: Week 14 fantasy football advice
We break down the fantasy football outlook of Adonai Mitchell ahead of Week 14

It hasn’t been all good for the young receivers, but we’ve seen some strong upside from them. The question is, can they be trusted in fantasy this week?
Below, we’ll go over Adonai Mitchell’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 14.
Fantasy Football analysis: Jets, WR, Adonai Mitchell
Last week it was Mitchell’s turn to shine, while Metchie had the dud. It was the opposite the week before. Mitchell has shown he can get open, but catching the ball and getting the fundamentals locked down is what has him moving to a new team at such a young age. The raw talent is there for both of these guys, but they’ll need consistency to stick in the league as starters.
Mitchell has more upside than Metchie and I’d lean toward starting him in a good matchup with the Dolphins if choosing between the two. But, both have decent prospects in this matchup with Tyrod Taylor open to flinging the ball down field. Both players are getting enough snaps and targets to be startable, it’s just that the efficiency isn’t always there. We can’t predict if they’ll catch the ball, but we can predict that they’ve now seen enough work with the Jets to feel good about them once again seeing 7+ targets and 80% of the snaps against the Dolphins.
