The 3-10 Arizona Cardinals travel to Houston on Sunday to face the 8-5 Texans as 9.5-point road underdogs. The Cardinals offense has been better with Jacoby Brissett at the helm, but there are plenty of reasons to expect the Texans defense to continue their dominant play this week as they fight for the NFC South crown.
Bam Knight start or sit: Week 15 fantasy football advice
We break down the fantasy football outlook of Bam Knight ahead of Week 15

The Cardinals lost James Conner early on and then quickly lost his backup Trey Benson. That left Bam Knight, Michael Carter and Emari Demercado to share work. Knight has taken over as the lead back and due to goal line and passing down work, he’s managed to be useful as a flex play this season.
Below, we’ll go over Bam Knight’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 15.
Fantasy Football analysis: Cardinals, RB, Bam Knight
This week the Cardinals face the best defense in the league in the Texans. It’s likely going to take a strong workload to justify starting any of their players (see Michael Wilson and Trey McBride). Knight has seen 10, 14, and 14 touches over his last three games, which isn’t great, but with goal line work and an average of five targets a game, those touches are better than some.
Demercado is an important piece here, as he’s trying to return from a high-ankle sprain and was limited to start the practice week. If he is active, it could hurt Knight’s upside. If he’s inactive again, I think we can count on 12+ looks for Knight, pushing him into a fringe flex play. Overall, I’m leaning toward starting him due to his usage as a receiver and goal line back.
