At this point, entering Week 4 of the NFL season, it looks like we can set aside the concerns fantasy football players and pundits had about Miami Dolphins receiver Brandon Marshall.
Checking The ESPN And Yahoo Fantasy Football Projections for NFL Week 4
Approaching tomorrow's game against the New England Patriots, Marshall has been rated as having the top matchup by Yahoo! and as the player with the top projected stats by ESPN's fantasy football gurus.
ESPN is projecting that Marshall will haul in 10 receptions for 125 yards and two touchdowns. Yahoo, meanwhile, pointed out that that the Patriots are giving up the eighth-highest amount of fantasy points to wide receivers “as their secondary is atrocious.”
Through three games with his new Miami team, the former Denver Broncos star has 22 receptions for 290 yards and one touchdown.
Another interesting play, especially if you need a kicker during this first bye week: Cincinnati kicker Mike Nugent. The kicker projections are all over the place, but he rates high this weekend for both ESPN and Yahoo. Nugent has yet to miss this season (he's 8-for-8), and the Bengals are sure to score and put him in position to rack up points against the Browns.
