Who is looking good at wide receiver for Week 8? We project five good ones.
Fantasy Football Projections Week 8: Wide Receivers
Reggie Wayne (vs. Hou) - Colts receiving options are dropping like flies, Dallas Clark and Austin Collie are out. But ol' reliable is still there, Reggie Wayne. He'll get the looks from Peyton Manning, and the Houston secondary is a sieve. It should be a high-scoring shootout, with Wayne benefiting.
Projection: 136 yds, 2 TD
Dwayne Bowe (vs Buf) - Bowe has been red-hot the past two weeks, putting up four touchdowns against some very suspect secondaries. The Buffalo pass defense has given up 14 touchdowns so far this year. We smell points.
Projection: 97 yds, 2 TD
Andre Johnson (@ Ind) - The Colts pass defense doesn't give up a lot of touchdowns, but Andre Johnson is no ordinary receiver. We think this game will be a shoot-out, and if there are points to be had, Johnson will probably get his share.
Projection: 143 yds, 1 TD
Terrell Owens (vs Mia) - If the Bengals defense is going to be giving up points like they did last week against the Falcons, then Terrell Owens and Carson Palmer will be very active in the passing game. Owens has been hot, it continues this week.
Projection: 65 yds, 2 TD
Calvin Johnson (vs. Was) - The Washington pass defense gives up a ton of yards per game. Matthew Stafford is back. Megatron continues his recent streak of fantasy production by topping the century mark and grabbing a touchdown.
Projection: 114 yds, 1 TD
