Chargers TE Antonio Gates Back In Business Against Titans With 100 Yards And A TD

After a pair of relatively underwhelming outings against the Patriots and Rams, Chargers TE Antonio Gates is expressing himself against the Titans today. His four catches for 102 yards is already his third-best total of the season, and he scored his ninth touchdown.

Last week against the Pats, the Chargers had a hard time even targeting Gates until late in the second half, but he still managed 50 yards and a touchdown. Gates is second among tight ends in fantasy scoring today, behind only Jaguars TE Marcedes Lewis’ two-score day.

Chargers QB Philip Rivers is now up to 253 yards, meaning he’s on pace for his weekly statsgasm that somehow fails to produce a Chargers win due to a hilarious mishap. Still plenty of football left to be ruined here in San Diego. Rivers extends his games-with-a-touchdown streak to 21 games.
